Now, he and his two children, Naem and Ameer, live in a small tent on Rafah’s beach, exposed to the sun by day and cold by night, after being forced to flee their home. Despite his efforts, the cost to reach safety in Egypt—$5,000 per person—is far beyond their reach. Ahmed’s hope is to secure a safe future for his children away from the conflict.

Young recently married couple, Mohammed Qudaih (22) and his wife Asmaa. They are both currently trapped in Gaza during the Israeli occupations continuous bombardment of the Gaza Strip. Asmaa is pregnant, due in March 2025, so they need funds to be able to help nourish her during her pregnancy. They are raising money to evacuate to Egypt when the crossing opens.
